Super-speedy hedgehog "Sonic" Our hero, Sonic, was suddenly arrested for escaping from the military facility. As he flees from his pursuers, a mysterious black hedgehog "Shadow" blocks his way. Many mysterious incidents begin to happen with the appearance of this black hedgehog. Sonic's archenemy, Dr.Eggman announces his plans to take over the world. Sonic discovers the connection between Shadow and Eggman. He decides to pursue Eggman into outer space with his old buddies, Tails and Knuckles. |

Somehow our hero, Sonic, has been mistakenly accused by the military troops because they think Sonic is the one who escaped from their facility. Sonic tries to discover the secrets of this black hedgehog who resembles him and at the same time he must stop Eggman's evil plan to dominate the world. |

A boy fox with two tails. His mechanical ability to build machines is equal to that of Eggman.
This time, he plays an active role using his new machine the "Cyclone." His ability to build machines is invaluable to Sonic. |

The echidna who is destined to guard the Master Emerald on Angel Island.
Knuckles is a tactful treasure hunter and a martial arts expert. He often finds himself venturing out to find the pieces of the Master Emerald. |

The evil genious scentist, Dr. Eggman broke into the military base looking for information about a top secret weapon called "Shadow."
As it turns out, the top secret weapon is a black hedgehog.
This black hedgehog "Shadow" calls himself the ultimate life form. Shadow invites Dr.Eggman to the Space Colony ARK, and persuades him to use the Eclipse Cannon to take over the world. A mysterious bat girl named Rouge appears out of nowhere and offers to help. The plan for world domination starts with these three in place... |

A black hegdehog who resembles Sonic. He is the ultimate life form created by Pr.Gerald Robotonik.
He has the ability to use his special power, "Chaos Control." He is able to harness the power of the Chaos Emerald to warp time and space. He tells Eggman about the Eclipse Cannon and pursuades him to use it to take over the world. But what is Shadow's real motive? |

Dr.EGGMAN

He calls himself the genious scientist of evil. His IQ is 300 and is a renowned authority on robotics.
His plans for world domination begins with collecting all of the Chaos Emeralds with the help of Shadow and Rouge. Eggman's plans are always spoiled by Sonic and he is constantly reminded on this. |

ROUGE THE BAT

She is a treasure hunter who specializes in jewels. She is relentless in getting what she wants.
She offers help to Eggman to find the pieces of the Master Emerald, but no one knows her real identity. |
